Buonappetito is an online marketplace celebrating authentic Italian food culture. The platform curates hand-picked groceries and specialties from emerging producers across Italy — bringing genuine regional flavors to a global audience.
In 2022, I was commissioned to develop Buonappetito Magazine — a premium corporate publication for italophile food lovers, designed to tell the human stories behind the products. The magazine follows the rhythm of a traditional Italian meal: beginning with aperitivi, continuing through antipasti, main courses, and desserts, and complemented by wine features and location guides.
Following the success of the magazine concept, I also gave the Buonappetito online market place and brand identity a contemporary refresh, introducing a bolder, more confident visual direction that better reflects the brand’s vibrant and authentic character.
I created the concept, editorial structure, and design, crafting a seamless connection between print and digital formats. The digital version — launched on the Buonappetitowebsite as “Experiences” — offers interactive storytelling that enhances the brand’s online presence. The first print issue (80+ pages) is set for release in 2026.
