Maison Mollerus

 

THE CLIENT

For more than 30 years, Maison Mollerus stands for high-quality handbags, small leather goods, luggage and accessories. The basic range of Maison Mollerus includes around 200 different handbags, small leather goods and luggage. Twice a year this is expanded with a current collection. From the very beginning of the brand in 1984, Maison Mollerus has been working with production facilities in Ticino and Italy, where the bags, small leather goods and luggage are all made by hand.

 

THE TASK

In 2021, I was commissioned to develop a campaign for the brands new bag collection made out of sustainable apple leather. With the clear intention to appeal to a younger target audience and hence modernise the brands traditional identity, the challenge was in not loosing the more mature customer base. As a logical conclusion, it was also commissioned to re-design the Online-Shop in regard to appearance and functionality. Thus, we went for a split-screen home page, where the customer could decide between the well established classic main collection and the current capsule collection made out if sustainable apple leather.
